B&G WS310 Wired wind Sensor is a highly precise wind sensor continuing B&G's iterative improvements in technology to make it the best sensor available. Available August 2018.
Features:
- Benchmarked against multiple sensors and tested in over 500 individual wind tunnel tests to provide incredibly accurate information,
- Outputs 5 updates a second for smooth readings
- Tested to withstand constant harsh conditions as an exposed sensor
- NMEA2000 network connection via COB850 Wired Interface Unit (not included), or NMEA0183 output via direct connection to some systems
- Mounts on included Mast bracket that is almost identical to 608 model's bracket with the same footprint and fixing pattern but improved stability
- Field serviceable design that allows the user to replace bearings, cups, and vane without needing to return the unit
- 0.5 - 90 knots speed sensor range
- +/- 0.2 knots (between 2-80 knots) speed accuracy with 0.1 >Knot resolution
- +/ 0.5° angle accuracy with 0.1° resolution
- Power Supply: 12vDC via the interface unit
- Note: Can not be used with earlier 608 cable
