The Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) have officially approved the Crewman commercial models for use in the commercial sector. Following testing completed by VicLab on 23/06/2015 and subsequent discussion and analysis of the results, they have been shown to meet the requirements for use as a buoyant appliance in ACcordance with Clause 4. 7 in Part C7A of the National Standard for Commercial Vessels (NSCV). Additionally, all of the devices are suited to be used as a container for emergency and safety equipment on commercial vessels.Capacity to support two persons.
A device designed to reduce the amount of lives lost at sea, by ensuring all safety equipment is contained in one place when abandonment is the only option.
Life Cell is made from closed cell PU foam and constructed from UV resistant flame retardant polyethylene (PE). They are supplied with a PE mount bracket. The Life Cell is designed to automatically float from the bracket in the event of being submerged.
Unlike grab bags, Life Cells float Acting as a secure hand hold keeping all crew together and as stable platforms to assist in the deployment of flares and other safety equipment.

Flares
V sheets
Whistles
Horns
Torches
The largest of all Life Cells. It stores all safety equipment including EPIRB in large compartment and has an additional small compartment to store personal items such as wallet, keys or phone. An external recess will also hold the EPIRB in an upright position if it needs to be Activated in the water. Comes with two mounting brackets but safety equipment can be purchased separately.
