The BEP TS1 is an ultrasonic tank sender unit that has no moving parts and can be used in fuel tanks (petrol or diesel), freshwater, grey water or black water tanks. The TS1 can be used on any shape tank with a minimum depth of 200mm and a maximum depth of 2m. The unit operates on the same principle as a depth sounder and can be configured to be used in conjunction with BEP, Veethree, Faria, VDO and many other analogue gauges from most popular instrument manufacturers (not to be used with electronic gauges). The TS1 has a standard SAE 5 hole mounting pattern and is supplied with sealing gasket, instruction leaflet and 2 year manufacturer’s warranty. It is suitable for top mount installations only. The low profile sender unit can be fitted in metal or plastic tanks, and is resistant to petrol, diesel, water and toilet chemicals. It has a 10-32V operating range and an operating temperature range of 4-65°C.

The TS1 sender unit is available in 2 configurations;
1. 113060 - TS1 sender unit non programmed. Suitable for OEM's wishing to program their own units (113362 required).
2. 113361 - For retail sales, the TS1 is available as a fully programmed unit. Information relating to tank shape, size, fluid type and gauge type must be forwarded to BLA.

To complement the TS1 sender, Marinco BEP produce the DCSM, enabling the user to view tank level information for multiple tanks in numeric and graphic forms. Suitable for fuel, freshwater, grey water and black water.

• Handles common outputs – 240-33, 10-180, Vetus 10-300 and 0-5V tanks from Marinco BEP, SeaStar Solutions, Faria, VDO and many other popular instrument brands. (When connecting to non-adjustable gauges the TS1 must be pre-calibrated)
• Low Profile Design and standard SAE 5 hole mounting pattern, allowing it to be retrofitted to practically all other sender brands
• Can be set for tank dimensions via computer using Marinco BEP’s proprietary TS1 software, avoiding experimental tank filling on site
• Connects directly to the DC systems monitors (113386, refer page 134) when configured to a 0-5V output
• Is set for 0-2000mm depth off the shelf (not suitable for tank depths less than 200mm)

BEP’s proprietary Window’s based software application allows for TS1 senders to be programmed specific to tank shape, size and fluid type via a computer’s USB port. Programming is a simple process and can be carried out by downloading free software from BEPmarine. com and purchasing a programming kit TS1-PK. Once programmed, the specific tank parameters are stored in the non-volatile memory of the TS1. Find more detailed information at BEPmarine. com

N. B. The TS1 signal is not a true resistive signal and cannot be used with an electronic engine monitoring system. The TS1 is ideally suited to analogue instruments that have a resistive range of 10-180ohm, 240-33ohm or 10-300ohm.
